Hellboy: The Crooked Man 2024
Despite some pretty dodgy CGI, I think this movie has a lot of spirit. I liked Jack Kesy as Hellboy and the movie's rounded out with a pretty likeable cast in my opinion. As a fan of the comics, it delivered a lot of what I enjoy about the book. I can see it not being a lot of people's cup of tea but I enjoyed it for what it's worth and am really glad it got made.

The Return of Swamp Thing 1989
Never got around to watching this until now. I love the comics and I love Wes Craven but the first movie just bored me to tears. This however is the exact opposite. It's start's off crazy and gets more insane as it goes along. Maybe not the most well made movie but it is a TON of fun and dripping with great 80s cheese. My suggestion? Find a nice comfy chair and PLANT yourself down and VEG out to this flick!!!
