Brave the Dark 2023
Interviewed the writer of the film Nate Deen whose life it is based on and dude had me speechless up there. He was able to find comedy in immense tragedy and write dialogue that spoke directly to the audience, when Jared Hess is giving the kid advice he literally got me out of my own head and got me thinking wtf am I so worried about? Great cinema encourages you to self reflect.
