Super entertaining except at the very end. Aesthetically pleasing except weird amounts of fade in and fade out shots that came across as cheesy. The best scene of the movie was when they found him and blanche in the motel and her head went splat and then he like killed everyone and the way his face slowly disappeared behind the wall was sooooo good!!!!! The end was unsatisfying though and also the female lead was absolutely only a plot device there was no personality to her at all which is so typical. Also Ryan gosling is so dark and brooding throughout it’s definitely edging on cheesy
