  This felt like Will Poulters movie to me. He owned it with all of his witty one liners and a “daddy’s money” kinda vibe. Death of a Unicorn was interesting (to see the least) with an original concept and I liked the mix of horror and comedy. I’m sure I will get looked at like I’m crazy trying to explain this movie to someone who doesn’t have intentions on seeing it. “Killer unicorns? What?”

  This movie gives me a Lone Survivor feel that’s scaled down and way less intense. I enjoyed Chase Stokes and the persona for his character but that’s about my only big takeaway. Something I thought was strange for a military movie was the song choices during the film and the end credits. They would not have been my first choice and it makes this movie that’s inspired by true events appear not as serious.
