  monthly rewatch. 
  i don’t think either of them were in the wrong, summer was just looking for a fun workplace fling, just to be messy with, but nothing serious as she didn’t want a lover/wasn’t ready. which is understandable (i am summer). Tom was also pressuring her into the relationship and for her to be the girl he made her out in his imagination, which i’m sure didn’t help her in any way.
