This movie bangs. The little baby gosling, "Gosling," is adorable. This world contrasts the bleakness of the incoming AI world filled with robots to do our dirty work, in this case separating us from the natural world, with the natural world itself.
The theme of "sometimes you have to overwrite your code" to do the right thing is probably not a completely new theme, but this story tells it in a way accessible to the modern audience.

Can’t believe I waited to watch this until now but this zany comedy is filled to the brim with stars putting on a great show.
Severance director Ben Stiller used to act and he’s pretty damn funny. The contrast of him and Robert De Niro make the movie as great as it is. The hi-jinx is absurd and constant, there are more hardy laughs than a modern comedy, and a nice feel good ending.
It’s not changing the game but is a fun look back on a better era of comedy movies
