God this one starts so strong, doesn't it? The stuff with skinny Steve, the boot camp training, the serum, it all rocks. The entire middle falls apart, and as soon as the Nazi stand-in soldiers start shooting tesseract lasers around, the whole thing is over.

MCU Re-watch #3. This still absolutely freaking rips. Dead serious "Real Acting"ᵀᴹ from all involved. Dutch angles screaming out of the screen ever 10 seconds. Serious Thor>>>>Joking Thor. Bring the gravitas back, bring the god shit back, it's time.
Idk, it just feels damn good to watch these back when they were made by actual directors and had some freaking sauce.
Got to go watch this in IMAX tonight in preparation for the upcoming 4th film. I know it is a cliché, but I feel like they truly *do not* make movies like this anymore. At least not movies this freaking cool. On top of being one of the coolest movies ever made, it is one of the most 90's movies ever made, and I love it.
