  The platonic ideal of a good bad movie. In our theater the sound kept cutting out for minutes at a time and none of us knew if it was on purpose.

  I’ve only seen one other Eric Rohmer movie, Boyfriend and Girlfriends, which I loved and found infinitely charming. This one was just kinda repulsive.

  God this was fucking grim. As soon as I finished this move I just wanted to hug my parents for not being jealous narcissists.

  This film gave insight into Francesca Woodman’s evocative work and tragic life, but it mostly seems to be a portrait of her parents, who initially seem to be charming, eccentric artsy old folks.   I’m fairly sure this movie is dogshit but I put it on and within 15 minutes fell asleep and had one of the best slumbers of my life so I’ll remember it fondly
