An homage to taboo.
Actually a life changing film, so much tension is built up all to be released in some freakish act and so on in this sadistic self-fulfilling prophecy.
Eventually you reveal yourself as what you truly are, no longer leaning on the crutch of experimentation.
It is not subtle in its reverence for all of cinema, nothing is too stupid or too fucked up. And to love film is to be in awe of imagination, right?
Random but I thought period blood was so trivial in this film and that was comforting
