Really enjoyed this but dying to see it on stage. Reading O’Casey at school wasn’t the same as reading him now. The Irish Shakespeare who wrote tragic comedies that welcomed you into the lives of the working class of Dublin. O’Casey coming from this background rings true with the beautiful blend of comical authentic characters and horrific events of Irelands past.
