The Lego Movie 2014
Even back in middle school, The Lego Movie still resonates with me. Growing up, I saw myself in Emmet and till this day, I consider him my “spirit animal” lol. With that being said, it’s really impressive how Lord & Miller were able to make something impossible possible. From the animation to the music to the world building etc. What surprised me the most is how it explored the themes of self-discovery and learning the values of independent talent. Something you wouldn’t expect from a film about Legos. In conclusion, The Lego Movie is a fascinating movie filled with heart, passion, and creativity.
