I was curious as to why this movie made a good impression among my mutuals. Heck, even my little brother loves this movie and convinced me to check it out. So I gave it a watch and…oh my god.

I don’t know where to begin because sht, this brought me back to my adolescence. I won’t explain why this movie resonated with me personally because I’m not Dr. Robotnik but I will say this. I could understand where Will is…

Not to be confused with the Shawn Mendes and Camilla Cabello song lol.

Ngl, this film gave me tons of vibes to previous slasher films. Sure, it follows similar beats and tropes but I still was engaged with the story at hand. As well as the mystery in the center. Even back in middle school, The Lego Movie still resonates with me. Growing up, I saw myself in Emmet and till this day, I consider him my “spirit animal” lol. With that being said, it’s really impressive how Lord & Miller were able to make something impossible possible. Something you wouldn’t expect from a film about Legos. In conclusion, The Lego Movie is a fascinating movie filled with heart, passion, and creativity.

    Happy 10th Anniversary!

A quick side note, I had no idea that this was also based on a book. Is the universe telling me that I have to stop slacking around with my literature!? With that being said, this movie took the Man vs nature to a whole new level. Like, I can’t imagine getting stranded in space for a few months or weeks. The film really excelled at demonstrating the urgency to achieve resourcefulness in hopes of survival. But it’s true what…
