Candyman 2021
This retelling amps up the gruesome violence and states clearer its purpose and themes. Candyman is the writing on the wall, and the whisper in the classroom. And he is back to once again to remind us of that.
I just wish this movie was given more run time, but honestly if they just keep cranking out Candyman stories, I'll keep watching them.
And of course, it was a joy to see Tony Todd as Candyman again. He will always give me chills. RIP you legend.
