generally i hate when books are adapted in to movies and this is not an exception but thank you ocd <3
personally if my wife had 10 million microbes that wanted to kiss my 10 million microbes I’d pull her in a little closer because they’re in love just like us but maybe that’s just me idk
very sweet and atmospheric movie,, even though there was very little variation in the actual location the ambiance and intention changed often. the relationship between charlotte and bob was so charming because there was no forced romantic aspect there was just an acknowledgment that they understood each other which was sweet. there’s also a lot of subtlety that makes it applicable to anyone traveling in a foreign place with a language barrier,,, you become quickly attached to someone who understands what you’re going through, the two main characters also benefited from the connection they had with feeling lost and far away from the things they loved.
