This movie pretty much asks you if you’ve seen Ex Machina because it’s not going at great length to fill in the holes regarding how it works. That said. It’s quite good. He puts a bunch of story in a cramped space with a lead creating a much more complex, punished character than she’ll ever get credit. Considering that there are going to be three times as many versions of this movie coming out in the next … you tell me, it’s cool that an early one told a savvy story and winked at you. Much much better than M-Three-Gen.

World's Greatest Dad 2009
If you saw the poster for this coming soon flick at your theater, you would say NO WAY unless you’re the kind of person that loved Patch Adams.
Then you’d ask “why is this rated R?”
Then, if you were really looking at that poster, you’d see “written and directed by Bobcat Goldthwait.”
I encourage you not to read the premise of the film in advance. The direction isn’t great, and the ending isn’t what I hoped for, but overall…
