It wasn’t horrible, but man. It felt like such a pointless origin story. Maybe because I saw it AFTER it became a known bomb.

I'd actually forgotten how bad the first one was, and didn't know this sequel existed. I was shocked it was worse than the first one. It's the first time I've ever seen Tommy Lee Jones unexpectedly pop up in a movie, where it depressed me.
I'm on a journey to watch as many time travel movies as I can. So many of them are bad that I thought this would be bad, but it was actually a really good one.
