The best. Good everyday characters, serious chills as it builds and a satisfyingly comprehensible ending.

I feel like I should be writing this on a bit of cardboard on a crappy confessional site. Here we go.

"I enjoyed Let's Be Cops non-ironically".

Watched it on a plane figuring from the trailer it would end up on my "Not even watchable on a plane" list. And what do you know it's ended up on my very short "Mad me laugh and suck Coca-Cola actually into my lungs" list.

Recommended if you're tired or something on a plane. Who knows.

Imagine if an old American guy, a random one, not Scorsese, made a French movie, but not a good one. Then add even more French whimsical background music. And Sacha Baron Cohen as a character from 'Allo 'Allo. Then make it all run 1 hour longer than it needed to be. Practice your old person Bridgeway theatre laugh for this one.

Loved it and found it fascinating. I smiled non-stop through the early years up to Killjoy, and had lots of "ooohhhhhh - righhhhht" interesting moments in the second half. So five stars from me, but if you haven't followed Shihad for most of their career, or wondered where it all went wrong... then maybe knock a star or two off.
