  Just an absolutely incredible film. Obviously, the last 10 mins are incredible, breathtaking, and heartwrenching. One of the other things I noticed about this was the sound design of the fires. Fire was basically a character in the film, which is so insanely cool.

  Thanks to Ben for the LB Roulette pick, and sorry for taking like 3 months to get to it.

  Jeez, its called work/life balance, lady.

  But really, and I get that this is an adaptation and expansion of a mid-1800's fairytale, can't two creative professionals be married and also have their own careers? Talk about how you'll balance each of your careers while you're smooching in the horse-drawn carriage being driven by a sleeping guy.

  I usually hate dance breaks in shows, I just don't understand them and they don't move the story forward at all. However, The Red Shoes definitely opened my eyes a bit to how ballet can tell a story.
