The performances were exceptional, but truly I kept checking to see how much longer until the movie ended. To me, it dragged, and to my dismay, had an unsatisfying ending.

A star-studded cast, with a story that currently hits far too close to home. I did enjoy the pacing of the film, however I felt like it came to an abrupt ending, leaving me wanting a little more. It seemed as though there were a decent amount of storylines left unfinished. My favorite performance was that of Jude Law.

Oh the magic of this film. I have been incredibly moved and inspired by this entire production from start to finish-- the character work, the writing, the intentionality behind the directing and choice to camera shots. Wow, wow, wow. This to me, is the original "Marriage Story".
Typically, I don't enjoy "slice of life" style films. My brain is looking for that…
