this movie was one long edging program. it felt comical how the movie ended, almost like they wanted us to know every information we just digested.
i do believe they executed this in a way that kept me distraught. this is a type of horror that lurks on you to the very end. nothing feels satisfying yet everything just makes sense.
there’s something so enigmatic about the subtleties in this movie. the runaway killers with provoking characteristic's. it awfully felt dreamlike with its gentle cinematography and sissy’s soft, gentle voice. makes you neutralized about the violent actions bestowed throughout.
What an emotional rollercoaster this movie was. Knowing about the true story, this movie did SUCH an excellent job bringing this story to life. The cinematic, compositions and the writing was very well orchestrated. (The plane crashing scene especially put me on the edge of my seat)
this movie has all the elements of disaster (plot wise) but the way it was executed made my stomach turn. the fast scenes were excruciating but the slow ones left me even more horrified. ‘helping’ an indigenous tribe with questionable purpose already told me enough of this movie but i fear to say that i didn’t expect to digest this much (literally).
