This movie is the best Russian representation I've seen in an American film, hearing my name pronounced the right way made me so happy, great film.

Pasolini was the realest mfer for exposing the elites and getting killed for it before it was cool. That being said, this is real, this is what goes on when the sickest members of society are also it's richest and powerful. If you want the blackpill on the subject, read about the Dutroux affair in Belgium.

Well-written, multi-layed excellent mystery. Has the density of a book in the length of a film - to the point where the runtime feels longer in retrospect due to the sheer amount of detail and plot progression packed into the film.

    Also, Thomas Pynchon reference.

    Barbisattva.

The trailers gave hints that this movie would follow the formula of the Gnostic Myth (i.e. Truman Show, the Lego Movie), but I did not expect the most mystically inspired and creative symbolic narrative since The Matrix. Like seriously, the metaphysics of Barbieland are fascinating and this film is genuinely spiritually profound on top of being one of the funniest and conscious social satires of recent years - love it.
