Out of My Mind 2024
and while im making reviews, i watched this a few days ago. out of my mind was my favorite book as a kid, and one of the few books i reread multiple times. this was an excellent retelling of the story. the editing was great, doing an amazing job of keeping melody’s narrations alive while still showcasing her challenges in communicating with others. such a good story :) i highly recommend it!!

i dont know what i was expecting but somehow this was worse. it gets a solid star for having some insane one-liners, plus another half star for the ridiculousness of the gorilla suit. its so bad. i just think it is amazing that humans have the capability to come together to create a piece of media and then this is what they have to show for themselves. truly nothing is better than the human experience.
