This almost 4 hour movie got my full attention. I would have expected to be bored and some point but wasn’t. The scores, pace and cinematography are simply so good. This movie does such a well job of portraying how ugly america is and Brody’s portrayal was touching and exceptional. Some scenes made me gasp aloud. I did not like the ending and that was exactly the point.
A lot of feelings about how this movie tries to both touch on and steer away from zionism, summarised: Free Palestine, Fuck zionists and Fuck antisemites!!
