    I wish it did something more with the premise. You could tie a lot with somebody numb to pain in today's world.

    Still, America's sweetheart Jack Quaid continues a streak of entertaining films, it'll keep you laughing once the action kicks in, with a substantive plot. Could've trimmed that runtime though.

    As recently recommended by Wikipedia (March 20 featured picture), the Hitch-Hiker is all thrills! Director Lupino clearly wanted to leave you traumatised from the get-go, with a flashy premise. Did she succeed? Absolutely!

    While there were some hiccups like saying aloud stage directions of jammed guns and the ilk, the three core performances helped deliver the thrilling tension for the whole 70 minutes, the era of the gun culture really hangs over this. Makes me wonder how well the film…

    John Hurt described Bong Joon-Ho as one of the best directors he's ever worked with.

    Love the metaphysical representation of the class-based society on a literal train. It elevated to exceptional levels with that fire sequence. And those masked men getting slaughtered by Curtis as piano plays is better than any action sequence I've seen in the last ten years of movies!

    Really want to know how the aquarium carriage survived the snowdrift.
