  Like, come on. I am definitely the target audience for this one

  I think my problem with a some of Tarantino's films is how meandering and self-gratifying they can be at times. My favorites are when he really focuses on a specific genre and runs with it (Django, Inglorious Bastards, Hateful 8). This is maybe his most linear and concise film, and his only forray into horror, but it does still have about 15 minutes of dialogue that could easily be cut out. Not my favorite of his, but it's definitely higher on the list

  Martin Lawrence and Luke Wilson are great, but I can't help but feel the film overall is pretty flat and something I've seen 100 times before on TNT or TBS. In the hands of a filmmakers with more moxy, like Michael Bay or Shane Black, this could have been great, but instead they tapped the Encino Man guy and it shows

  Probably one of the worst comedy specials I've ever seen, and I don't really like any of them.

  The "Cancel Culture" bit is so played out that it makes me bleed from my ears, Austin comedy is boring as fuck because it just revolves around pleasing big Joe, and David Lucas uses homophobic and transphobic slurs numerous times here, which can work if you're funny or part of the community but David is neither

  Not sure I can say anything that isn't already said in this incredible article by Louis Chilton, but I'll leave it at this: this is not a movie. This is a 2 hour fan supercut made by someone sad that Marvel bought Fox.
