  Exactly what it needed to be and, I think, exactly what they set out to make. There’s no reason all the jokes should land as well as they do but somehow they found the magic balance between camp and affection for the subject matter and a comprehensible plot. Fun!

  I understand why so many people don’t like the ending but I also understand why it’s the ending we got. It could have gone so, so many ways but I do think it keeps the tone, even if the pacing stumbles a bit.

  The whole thing is so dryly funny in big and small ways as well as beautifully shot and acted. I wish Aaron Paul’s character got some closure but overall I had a lot of fun!
