This movie is 2 hours and 20 minutes long and I was viscerally uncomfortable for 2 hours and 10 minutes of it, thinking "I don't think I'll ever watch this again..."
The last 10 minutes elated me so much I would gladly watch this movie again just to reach that climax.
A servicable horror film. As someone who read the books a lot as a child, I appreciated all the allusions to various stories from the books. It's a tough challenge to try and adapt something like a book of short stories into one cohesive movie, but I think they had a smart idea on how to use that in this film.
