The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie 2024
This was an absolute delight. I want more animated movies like this. I was so blown away by the animation. The look and feel of this movie is insane. I felt like I was transported back to a higher quality version of 1960s cartoons. It’s hard to believe this was the first fully 2D theatrical release for Looney Tunes. Great use of R.E.M. Farmer Jim was the best. Just. Such a fun movie. I may be a little biased cause I’m friends with some of the extremely talented people involved in this film, but they killed it. Let’s hope this gets a theatrical sequel.

Flight Risk 2025
Really enjoyed this one. Simple simple action movie plot. 3 actors in a plane the entire movie playing off one another. Real bottle episode vibes. Marky Mark doing an absolutely amazing job just being as batshit insane as possible. Topher Grace being hilarious throughout and showing an insane amount of range. Yea this one’s a pretty cut and dry action/thriller film, but I really enjoyed it. It shows how much you can do with a small cast but also keeping things so insanely dynamic. Fun watch.
