The D in ADR stands for Damon

Watched this because I liked the poster when I was younger. It’s impressive how inaudible it was considering that every single line of dialogue had been redone in post (badly bless them). There was a certain point when I realised this wasn’t a “sit down and think”, more of a “watch it and do silly voices” film.

What a wafflestomped blend of flat nothing and disingenuous, poorly planned wank

An entire industry’s worth of money is soiled so that relatively twat poor cg cuphead robots can mill around a desperately uninteresting world populated by desperately uninteresting characters.

There is no tone. Every scene is a goo-meld of 5 unearned and confused emotions.

Quentin Tarantino is not my particular cup of tea

I appreciate his expertise and his love for the medium but I don’t care much for most of his work
Not that it’s bad it’s just super not for me
Like how coraline is objectively very quite good but I kinda don’t fw it on a spiritual level

This is good though it has more substance than kill bill
Most controversial review yet because he is a fundamentally wierd man

I know for a fact this would have been 4 stars if the trailer hadn’t spoiled the main premise

Really good though! Funny and tense and a little thoughtful.

    Timmy goes Electric

There’s a lot that can and has been said about the music biopic genre in particular; a tired formula, historical washing, lack of sincere depth. But, with the foundation of a stellar supporting cast, there is something endlessly engaging about this Chalamet-helmed extravaganza.

Chalamet plays a man earning his small place in the world and dealing with his own life after outgrowing everyone around him. Miraculously hurdling the obvious pitfall of that time-old Dylan impersonation, Timothée mixes…
