I, Tonya 2017
truly a devastating story that margot robbie does an amazing job acting in. i liked the filming style (interviews and silly cuts) but at some points it felt like it took away from how intense the story was. i also wish there had been more focus on actual skating and tonya’s development than just the situation happening around tonya because i feel like it’s a very important part of the story that didn’t get the attention it deserved.

a really interesting premise with a very good twist at the end. i loved the coloring and cinematography + found the acting very good (it must be so difficult to act as someone else whose acting as someone else). it’s a little hard to follow if you’re not fully locked in but other than that it’s an enjoyable campy watch.
