Grand Theft Hamlet 2024
Relies on a type of British deadpan humour, polite and nerdy, wanting to organise a Shakespeare performance in the middle pf open-world GTA. I was laughing heartily at the intrusions of anonymous players or NPCs blowing them away. Best moments were connecting to strangers like ParTeb, who was the best character in the whole thing. I was less engaged by the lockdown melancholy and ruminations. This film did inspire me to rewatch Limmy play Life Is Strange on YouTube (“Hella cash”).
