This movie starts off very weird, and as we go along in the story none of the characters aside from the two sons are like-able. The storyline is all over the place and makes an attempt to solve each of the characters essentialism. Some scenes like the goldfish scene were too cringey to watch. The beginning of the movie comes off very strong, with amazing visuals and an interesting protagonist. I like the fish eye lense that they use for the scene in which he describes his past. It gives us the uncomfortable feel, but it can be overbearing visually since they use it throughout the film. The movie would have a stronger impact, had they not included extra scenes or extended certain scenes. It also gets confusing because it jumps from scene to scene. But I like that they incorporated turning the visuals to black and white to show the distress a character is experiencing.
