  Film is a brilliant tool at showing places and periods in history that aren't as familiar to people outside of that place. This film is a golden example of this, and tells a wonderful story in the process

  A film of extremes for me

  Pros:
  - Music slapped
  -Michael Fassbender never misses
  - looked gorgeous
  - admire that it didn't feel like a typical music biopic
  - dramatic scenes worked well

  Cons:
  - comedy did not hit at all (Marvel humour but references figures from the troubles instead of TV shows from the 90s or whatever)
  - messy as hell
  - paper thin characters
  - strange cartoonish choices
  - the political subplot felt underdeveloped
