Not awful, but nothing to write home about. Like Beginning Of The Great Revival, it suffers pretty severely by moving at a breakneck pace and sort of losing track of its character stories.

There's a good story in here, between Huang Xing and Sun Yat-Sen taking a deal with the devil Yuan Shihkai to overthrow the Qing, but it's just buried in a multitude of less important subplots. Jackie Chan is actually quite good in this, I think, and it's…

Quite frankly I find the whole "Disney superfan" schtick to be at best fascinating and at worse extremely grating, so I probably wouldn't have watched this at all if it wasn't on Defunctland, which is, I think, one of perhaps three Theme Park Youtube Channels that I can stand. And the good news is that Defunctland is probably far and away the best in terms of historical contextualization and writing, so that's important as well.

    This isn't "A Defunctland Movie"…
