Up in the Air 2009
What a fantastic film. Simple, direct, bittersweet and positive. It feels like a film a little out of time, with a Sullivan's Travels kind of charisma and the intelligence and off-kilter feel of a 70's studio picture. I just adored it. Clooney is perfect, Reitman finds beauty in a wholly corporate world, I can't recommend it highly enough. This is what films should be like - thoughtful, charming and modest.
