There isn't much to chew on in the plot, but it's shot beautifully, production design is stellar, and the large cast of characters are interesting and have a lot of chemistry thanks to all the stellar performances. McCabe's turns of phrase are hilarious.

A gorgeous piece of American cinema that deserves to be in the canon going forward. The editing alone should be taught in classes forever.
The first person perspective takes a little getting used to but once you accept it and click in you realize the movie wouldn't be as magical as it is without it.
