I'm a huge fan of court room drama's. I expected this would be something like Jai Bheem or Satyameva Jayate.. The plot is so thin, the film lacks gripping screenplay and at times feels pretentious. So, it didn't reach my expectations but a decent watch! Good attempt. Siva Balaji was irritating & scary.. man dropped absolute banger of performance.. will surely bag many solid roles!
Bottom line:
A passable court drama!
Undoubtedly, the best theatrical experience in recent times!
Krishna and His Leela is a guilt-pleasure, you simply can't get enough of it. The writing and the screenplay are meticulously crafted, given the delicate nature of the plot. The narrative treads a razor-thin line, where even the slightest misstep in execution could have been detrimental. The characters landed so well as the 4 pillars of the film Sidhu and those 3 beautiful ladies did tremendous job complemented by exceptional writing. The music and the background score add another layer. Personally my heart goes out to Radha! She truly deserved someone better.
A story with a compelling narrative undermined by ineffective direction. VI Anand could have steered the story differently like his previous outing EPCN, but he opted to provide comic relief to the audience which fell flat. This genre demands high intense suspense mood, while the plot has its potential director failed to capitilise it, hence a terrific plotline wasted.
But, Once watchable. SK did good job. Hope, he picks a good script.
I haven't come across such heartwarming, emotionally charged film in recent times.. It almost had me teary-eyed! Karthi and Aravind Swamy delivered a timeless classic. Kudos to the director, this film will be celebrated and cherished for years to come.
The cinematography of the film deserves appreciations. Those night visuals and the village landscapes, that greenary, bird sounds in the early morning were so intricately and realistically captured. And the music —absolutely soothing.
Special mention: The entire Dhoni episode. It…
