I forgot about the loser band leader bootlicker whose lines were like 85% “son of a bitch”. I get so much joy seeing people’s reactions to this for the first time, but also enjoyed it for myself, as always. Bingo. Beer. Belly laughs. Community support (ilu Jim). Beheadings.
One of the best training montages of all time, if nothing else (and there is nothing else, I promise).

if you look for the most common word used in a lot of the reviews for this it's probably a variation of sleazy. And boy is it. It's also mysterious, mean, grimy, erotic, violent and cinematic in a beautiful grainy way.
