  I saw this last night at the last showing, I lucked out and got the massive theater to myself.   I really enjoyed the heck out of this documentary. On the surface, it’s a true crime doc that we’ve seen before. though when you watch it, it’s hard to stop. It’s in the spirit of Alex Gibney and Joe Berlinger documentary wise so it can be riveting like a narrative feature. Excellent editing and direction.   This was a nice movie. Kind of like Licorice Pizza meets The Bad News Bears(with Skateboards). Allen Garfield stars alongside Leif Garrett. Unfortunately Garrett, a solid child actor and typically a scene stealer at that point in his career, was given a small supporting role and only in the last 15 minutes did he become the lead.
