  a bunch of nonsense - deeply strange, ludicrously self indulgent, impenetrable at times (none of which is necessarily bad) but unfortunately not really enjoyable in the way something like southland tales or twin peaks the return is. most generous thing i can say is that theres something admirable in making something so clearly in service of only coppola's interests and vision

  speaking of southland tales, the bits of shitty cultural commentary were the best parts

  giancarlo was great though

  i think francis ford coppola might have some strange attitudes about women
