Hugely overlooked Billy Wilder Romp that has all the makings of a classic from his stellar roster.
Great performances (Erich von Stroheim, Peter van Eyck) and script as you’d expect from a wilder script.
I feel the lead Franchot Tone let’s the side down a bit but is none the less convincing as a lamed butler.
