  It's funny knowing how against releasing this movie Warner Bros was considering that it's a pretty fine family movie. Nothing groundbreaking or trend-setting, it's perfectly good. But it's basically a miracle that were getting a well-aninated 2D from in theaters at all in this day and age (and it's pretty funny to boot).

  For a deceptively sweet slice of life film about a girl and her dog, there was tons of character depth and family drama here that all managed to fit well against each other. That last act especially was very well done and every bit emotional as it needed to be.
