Motel Destino, directed by Karim Ainouz, is a film that makes you feel into a thriller action-packed movie in the first act. An attentive viewer, however, can see from the beginning, when the camera opens, that it's not a story about gangs and criminals. The main character, Heraldo (Iago Xavier), running reckless over the beaches, surrounded by the sea in Ceará, northeast of Brazil, proves the director's real purpose.

Motel…
Claustrophobic dialogues. It's almost impossible to relax watching it. And that is what make it interesting. The inclusion of real people playing theirselves is very nice. The film worth by anguish caused in it middle.
