The actors were all amazing! And the zany/insane lines felt like the perfect amount, surrounded by more realistic dialogue. Except maybe the rolling up of the carpet lol. Why not just move him out of their home first?
Was Mark Ruffalo acting like he’d had plastic surgery? It was giving Trump impression. Wow the acting was all so great. The delivery of lines was just golden.

The way I believed the intro about it being based on a true story 😭
There was so much screen time on his life outside of battle but none of it told me his origins or really even much of his climb to power. Pretty disappointing.
The battle scenes were intense, extremely gripping, crazy to see in IMAX. The final one was so anticlimactic (not just the historical outcome haha like the actual scenes got boring and were drawn out).
The parts of the movie that were comedic were so awkward and didn’t fit but…

Damn. Bruh how could Theoden lead all his men to their death. If you care about Gondor you’d want to do what’s best for its people 😭 that wasn’t it. I get his mental state was fucked, his dad just told him he wished he was dead instead of his brother. But YOUR MEN. They didn’t deserve that. Rohan deserved better. If only Gandalf bonked him.
