Anora 2024
Not impressed enough to think it deserves an Oscar (apart from Mikey's amazing acting). It was surprisingly funny, but also sad. It was hard for me to get through the first 40 minutes.
I just don't think that despite the importance of the message it brought, it wasn't achieved in the best way. I find it strange that the film is called Anora, since we've been given so little of this character.
