Where'd You Go, Bernadette 2019
Linklater fundamentally changed the story, simplifying the source material in a way that loses many of the most important parts of the story. In the book, B was a three-dimensional kid. She was curious and intelligent. In the movie, the character is flattened to an almost unrecognizable state.
