This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
My favourite thing about this film is how all the deaths are off-screen, just as they were in Vera's life: left to be imagined, re-constructed.
A very painful film; I had to remind myself this wasn't gratuitous pain added in by some writer, but a real story - because it's too much, and then some.
