I probably should not have skipped ahead 2 installments, but that’s streaming autoplay for you.  (It helpfully autoplayed into 9 right afterward). Somehow I felt I understood the people I had never seen before better than the others?

This is one of those movies that is untethered from so many of the things I think about when I review a film. It’s deeply 90s in visuals and story structure without actually resembling life in the 90s. The dialogue is terrible, but something quoted constantly decades later, and not really ironically.
