Actually a pretty good movie. Mel is perfectly cast and practically carries the movie, and it’s cool to see Patrick Stewart play a villain (plus it’s fun to hear him attempt an American accent), and Julia Roberts is decent enough, even if that casting choice is interesting. Donner directs with a good amount of frenetic energy and the soundtrack is a hidden gem.

Internal Affairs 1990
Who would have guessed that Richard Gere could play such an amazing villain? He is absolutely fantastic here, add to that Andy Garcia being as good as usual and a decent supporting cast, and you get a pretty good movie here. The direction is pretty good, even if there are a few iffy decisions made here and there, and the same goes for the movie. Overall, a very entertaining and well-made thriller.
