This film was so visceral for me, able to stand alone in multiple forms, auditorially, visually. I found myself closing my eyes to listen and not watch during deliberate stanzas that had an intentional empty screen. Never before have I seen a film better explore the intersection of disability and queerness as it relates to nature.

With Grandmother 2024
A beautiful, meditative film following the Swami director returning to steward her ancestral lands and connect back to honor her grandmother's legacy and reconnect with family ties after the rift and harm caused by the wake of Nazi occupation in Northern Finland. There was something so deeply healing to this, fresh and youthful in the spirit of the old and ancestral.

Literally invincible, saint Kitten of cunt.
A star off due to incredibly offensive fetishization and portrayals of Native Americans.

The Script 2023
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
A unique combination between narrative and a documentary. Breaking the 4th wall between sharing perspectives on what its like to access gender affirming care in a cis centric medical field.
