  basically, they took the slogan “be gay, do crime” and made it a movie…and it worked SOOOO WELL!! This was really good and I’m honestly just upset I didn’t know about this one before

  My therapist likes to give me homework sometimes and this week’s assignment was to watch this movie. 

  I thought it was good bc it made me reflect and feel a lot. Isn’t that what movies are for? Maybe because I’m an adult actively working on her mental health I got to appreciate this movie more than the first inside out. Regardless, part of me really wished this had existed when I was younger. 

  Also, I absolutely LOVED what the creators did when building the “world of the mind”; it made the whole journey very fun to watch!!

  Anda pa’l carajo. Primera vez que lloro en un documental. I had a mixture of tears of joy, sadness, and anger. This is a movie that I needed, and I did not know. This is a movie that EVERYBODY in science needs, and probably do not know.

  Arrival 2016

  Incredibly brilliant and beautiful. Its simple architecture allows for its complex ideas to be comprehensible by the viewers. It is not a flashy movie seeking to show how 'cool' a battle against extraterrestrial would be. It is purely cerebral and captivates you with intensity, thought, and wonder.

  100% recommend for anyone wanting a good sci-fi.
